FAQ

We are always looking for qualified technical personnel to support us in our development work. Anyone with a good knowledge of ion traps, optics, vacuum, cryostats, microwaves, cleanroom work, electrical engineering or related fields is always welcome. Open positions are posted here and on LinkedIn, but ultimately we can find a place for anyone who can enrich us with good knowledge of their field. As we are constantly growing, we are also always looking for administrative roles in HR, purchasing, project management, marketing.

The best way is via our website, either directly in response to a job offer or as an unsolicited application.

A CV and, in the best case, a meaningful cover letter are already sufficient to initiate our application process.

Yes! Just because a position is not advertised does not mean that we do not need your expertise. Contacting us via our unsolicited application form is always possible and will be processed promptly.

After receiving your application, we first check your documents and think about the best fit for you and your expertise. If we have found something suitable, we will contact you and ask for a first meeting via video conference. The further procedure is totally individual. Depending on the distance to your future workplace, we may invite you to join us or have further conversations online. Occasionally we ask programmers to solve a problem and send us the source code used for it. However, there is no absolutely rigid system, since that would not fit the dynamics of our team at all.

We currently employ more than 20 people (as of 10/22), but we are constantly growing!

Yes. In addition to our site in Siegen, we also have a site in Hamburg, where we are working on the next generation of our quantum computers.

No, you do not. We are proud to have assembled an international team with various backgrounds. While it helps to speak German, we are perfectly fine if the only common language we have is English.
